NYFW AW12: Jenny Packham floats my boat

Well, I'll be the first to admit that I've been a terrible blogger lately (slap on the wrist), partly because I lost a teensy bit of my inspiration. Then NYFW came along, and a quick click (after click, after click - you get the idea) over on Style.com... and the inspiration has finally shown up to the party. AT LAST.

Anyway, I digress. Whilst there have been many amazing shows over the past week or so, one of my favourites (controversially) has been Jenny Packham.

So, yes, this may be due to the fact that, as a proper bridezilla, I'm paying my utmost attention to all my favourite bridal gown designers (see also: my post of Elie Saab at Paris Couture week. I think we can all expect Collette Dinigan and Monique Lhuillier to show up any day now, too. Just a hunch) but I really did adore the dark-meets-light, noir-inspired aesthetic. Very femme fatale, and very far away from the look of Packham's current most famous client; Kate Middleton.

Feast your eyes, people. Now are you as excited for Jenny Packham at Debenhams as I secretly am?
