Vogue.co.uk - 'Today I'm Wearing'...

February saw the launch of Vogue.co.uk's (admittedly somewhat overdue) simple yet effective feature 'Today I'm Wearing'... a different fashion icon every month, a different outfit everyday, with a little commentary on the side; nothing groundbreaking but, as is always the case with Vogue, worthy of a look.

Alexa Chung got the style-show-off's party off on the right note in February; very right indeed in my opinion with lots of denim, Topshop, waxed cotton jackets and of course a few Mulberry Alexa's (isn't she the tiniest bit embarassed?).

Then came March's Rosie Huntington Whiteley; and I, for one, lost interest. She's not a model I particularly associate with great style; or even high fashion, and some of her outfits just seemed too frou frou to gain any sort of inspiration from; it seemed they were designed more to display her designer prowess. Then again, maybe that was her point?

However, April has recaptured my attention with ultra put together, I'm-sure-she'-sponsored-by-Topshop-but-I-like-it, Olivia Palermo. She makes me feel scruffy, like all New York women do but at least it's all accesible (unlike Rosie). Coveting her Rebecca Taylor leopard t-shirt outfit. Just need that t-shirt. No, really.

Future hopes and predictions? Erin Wasson, Nicole Richie and Leigh Lezark, and please, no Geldof sisters.
